BOOK REVIEW- #19 ONE LUCKY VAMPIRE

 #19
Luck be a vampire tonight . . .When Nicole Phillips agreed to hire a housekeeper, she pictured someone a little frumpy and almost certainly female. Instead, she gets gorgeous, unmistakably male Jake Colson. The man is proving indispensable in the kitchen—and everywhere else. Except Jake might not be a mortal man at all.. . . Who wouldn't want to be a tall, dark, powerful vampire Jake, for one. He's barely had time to adjust to his newstate before he's roped into a family favor. Still, secretly playing bodyguard to sweet, sexy Nicole is turning out to be the wildest ride of his life. First, he'll put a stop to whoever's targeting her. Then he'll prove that this kind of love, and luck, happens only once in an eternity.  AMAZON

A Good story, with surprises and twists and turns.  It was a really different storyline in several ways, which I liked. Both MC's were honest good people who were easy to like.   Nicole was a good hearted, talented woman who had been used time and again by men who should have been trustworthy because they loved her (?).  The struggle that Jake was still going through because of his change to vampire and his estrangement from his family was a nice angle. He separated himself from them years ago and they allowed it but stayed in the background keeping an eye out for him.  It was great to see family members begin to come out of the background and help him as things begin to hit the fan.   The person who was trying to committ the murder, was quite a surprise as was the motive behind it.  Never saw that one coming.
