BOOK REVIEW- #18 IMMORTAL EVER AFTER

When Valerie is saved by the Argenau rescue team after being kidnapped by an immortal madman, Anders finds himself captivated by the strong, sultry woman. Engaged in a steamy affair, he promises to do everything in his power to protect Valerie while her abductor is still at large—and on the hunt.  AMAZON  4 Stars

A good story with great characters.  Valerie WAS a spunky, smart woman, whose quick thinking often got her out of trouble. Something that even Anders remarked on several times.   He said that often she just rescued herself before anyone else could.  True.  But they were there to help her after that happened. There were funny moments in the book especially the second time she got taken, what she did was not only clever but so funny too.    Anders was so kind and considerate of Valerie, when he wasn't trying to have life mate sex.  Even then, he still was old world charming for the most part.
Valerie's dog Roxy was a nice touch as well as being a well trained dog.  Most of the Argenau "family" was therein the story, although Marguerite who played a large part of other stories, wasn't there this time, just mentioned.  and Leigh (the life mate of Lucian) was fun and made things easier for Valerie when it came to know what kind of "people" she was staying with.   Leigh was easy going, cheerful and VERY, VERY Pregnant.
There was a few interesting twists at the end.
