I had some mixed feelings on this book.  Some of it was a bit dry to me, probably because he went over very familiar scriptures without sharing anything that was new to me.  BUT, this would be excellent for newer believers who have not yet been exposed to some of the truths written here.  What is new and something that I appreciated was the information on the Festivals, as I thought about how God said in his word that we are to remember the Festivals, that they are something he established.  He made a strong case for how we became separated from the Jewish view of God and conformed to the Roman ideal, of legalism and a changed calendar.  I liked that Paul Wilbur included the resources to find the calendar that the Jews followed and the listing of the Festivals and their future days of celebration and remembrance.  Yes, this is a book that requires continued study, at least in this area for me since I am newer to this information.  A good beginning study book, in my opinion.
He asked and then answered questions like "Why don't Christians celebrate Passover"?   "When did we trade our Passover lamb for an Easter Ham?"He also shared stories and interactions with other believers and information from the Jewish people.

The Glossary at the end of the book was a welcome addition for me too!

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
