the POSITIVE meaning of the word RELENTLESS

When you look at that word,
RELENTLESS,
it really denotes a sense of steadfastness,
 perseverance,
and a refusal to give up,
 cave in, or quit.
 It simply will not
come off the promises of God. Creflo Dollar

my note: Reality check:
do you see God's love for you
in that same way?
Relentless?
If you do, how deep do you see it?
Do you REALLY believe Jesus
when He said he would never, ever,
ever, ever let us go?  Never let us
slip from his hand?

So if we have degrees of seperation from Him,
who let go then?
If  Christian no longer have to repent (as some teach), then Jesus sure missed it when He told 5 of the 7 churches to repent in Revelations!

Song: "I'm Already There"- One of my Favorite Songs

This song still has the ability to tear me up!
I hear the chorus & I think of my FatherGod....
And it makes me look for Him..
It turns my heart to Him.
I hear the song & think of children seperated
 from their fathers.
In some cases their moms.
And in some cases both.
What about the grand's
and Mom's & Dad's of those serving?
The suffering I see here- hurts!
Gives the mere word "sacrifice"
some "faces".
Its the children & the loss of their fathers
 that gets me the most.
Even for those children who are blessed enough to still have a father whose alive;
he's still absent-  he's away.

This is why fear is connected

Surviving Your SERENGETI-- A Pleasant read

This is a nicely "painted" story. In this book the author has used his words skillfully; like a paint brush. And with that method he has brought the African wilderness and its animals into your imagination. The main character is a man who searching for answers to his business and life and being thrust into one of the most unlikely places; to his way of thinking. Each animal is then presented in the story separately to cause you think on its “style” of living . Not just living but really surviving in this harsh setting. Each chapter then has an overview of what has been shared on each animal style, with the challenge to discover where you fit in it all.

While the book was enjoyable to read; at times I just wished he’d get to the point and quit beating around the bush. Having said that, I also recognize that I usually look for and enjoy a “meaty” story, with a fair amount of study. This is a different style, one of the story teller, who told his story well. His job was to start you on the journey and that’s what he did.

Whose in Charge here?

To get rid of fear,
 you must first
 address any areas
 of selfishness in your life.
Even a fear of heights or of danger is tied to selfishness.
When you are afraid
for your safety,
it is as if a switch in your spirit is turned on
 that signals a self-preservation mechanism.
When you are concerned with preserving yourself,
you have essentially crowned yourself god
and rejected the divine protection of God

Whose your Daddy?

Give as much as you can in life

Make Your Temple A House Of Prayer

Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a ‘den of thieves’.”
Mark 11:17
It would be great if every time we prayed, the answers came quickly. Thank God for immediate results, but what do we do when the results are not immediate? The promises of God are there for us, but when they have yet to manifest in our circumstances, what should we do in the meantime?

Jesus showed us what to do. After He had cursed the fig tree, the tree did not wither immediately. (Mark 11:14) What did He do then? He went to the temple in Jerusalem and cleansed it, saying that it should be a house of prayer and not a den of thieves. (Mark 11:15–17) After cleansing the temple, when the disciples saw the same fig tree the next day, it had dried up from its roots! (Mark 11:20–21)

Today, you are the temple of God. (1 Corinthians 3:16) And your temple should be a “house of prayer” or it becomes a “den of thieves”. These thieves, or powers of darkness, will steal and rob from your temple, which is your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19) They will steal and rob you of your strength, health, youthfulness, wisdom, hopes and dreams.

So make your temple a house of prayer by praying in tongues frequently. (Ephesians 6:18) When you pray in the Spirit, you are praying perfect prayers. This is because the Spirit Himself
makes intercession for you
when He prays through you in tongues.
 (Romans 8:26)

“Pastor Prince, how long must I pray?”

Well, how often in a day does the enemy attack you with fears, anxieties and worries? How often does that disease in your body remind you that it is there? How healthy and whole do you want to be?

Beloved, as you make your temple a house of prayer, the powers of darkness that have been stealing or robbing from you will be driven out of your life completely. You will see the manifestation of what you have spoken over your circumstances and you will see the withering of what you have cursed!

Thought Of The Day

Make your body, God’s temple, a house of prayer by praying in the Spirit frequently.

Look To The Word, Not Natural Facts

Numbers 21:9
So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.
"Pastor Prince, I know that God is my healer. But why is this sickness and pain still in my body?” If you have been looking at your sickness and pain all this while, stop looking at yourself and start looking at Jesus. Did He or did He not take upon Himself your sickness and pain?
God’s Word declares, “Surely our sicknesses he hath borne, and our pains — he hath carried them…” (Isaiah 53:4, YLT) Since Jesus has already taken your sickness and pain at the cross, then He cannot “untake” them. Even if you find it hard to believe that Jesus has paid for your healing, especially when the pain is unbearable, the truth is that it is still paid for. It is a finished work!
God is not saying that your sickness does not exist, nor is He asking you to pretend that it is not there. He is asking you to look away from the sickness, painful as it may be, and look to the truth that it has already been judged at the cross in the body of His Son.
Once, while still in the wilderness, the children of Israel were bitten by deadly desert serpents. The serpents were real. The bites were painful and deadly. So God told Moses to point the people to the bronze serpent put on a pole — a picture of the cross. (John 3:14) Bronze signifies judgment. In other words, the serpent — their problem — was already judged at the cross.
Those who kept their eyes on the bronze serpent lived. Those who focused on their wounds died.
So stop looking at your sickness. Instead, look to the cross and see your sickness already judged in the body of Jesus. Surely He has borne your sicknesses and carried your pains! That is the truth of God’s Word. And His Word supersedes natural facts.

My friend, you let natural facts rule or establish God’s truths over your problem by what you choose to focus on. So decide today not to focus on the facts concerning your problem. Instead, establish the truth of God’s Word and Christ’s finished work over your problem — and live! Joseph Prince

Thought Of The Day:

The truth of God’s Word supersedes natural facts.

"It's Not about Me "- by Max Lucado- Christianity 101

"It's Not about Me"  by Max Lucado is a book that comes against the culture that we live in.
That culture says, “of course It's all about Me.” I can do what I want, I can
go where I want, I can say what I want; I can use my body any way I want.
We are reminded by Max & the Bible that we are created for God’s pleasure;
we are His creation. We were to bring Him glory; to reflect Him; to make Him known.
Included is a Study Guide in the back of the book.

This book really didn’t challenge me very much, although I believe it would benefit those who have never heard or faced any of these truths before. That is why I rated it as Christianity 101; foundational. I applaud Max Lucado for his good usage of Bible scripture and his ability to bring across to the reader that despite how self-centered; selfish we may still be, God still loves us deeply. Its also a call to find our purpose for living and to rely on God to help change us.

Humble vs. Independent

“A prayerless man is proud and independent,
and any church that neglects corporate prayer

 is sadly no better.
 Only God's HUMBLE  and NEEDY

children take the time to pray.
Everyone else is just going through the motions
and naively trusting in their own strength!”

Oh How My God Loves Me!

God’s Angels Are Watching Over You
Psalm 91:10–11

10 No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; 11 for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.

Don’t you just sense your Father’s love in these words? Like a mother hen that spreads her wings over her chicks to protect them, God will "cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge". (Psalm 91:4) So don’t be fearful of accidents, terrorist attacks, diseases or tsunamis because your heavenly Father loves you and watches over you.

One of the ways He does this is with His angels. God has declared that no evil, plague or accident will befall you or even come near your dwelling "for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways". When He says "no", He means "no-thing"! And if He tells His angels to "keep you in all your ways", it means round-the-clock divine protection for you!

Let me share with you a true story. A Christian was flying his plane when he realized that it was low on fuel. He contacted the air traffic controller and asked for assistance to land. But he was told that he could not land because there was a heavy fog. Then, the radio went silent and the plane entered the fog.

He was flying blindly when he suddenly heard over his headphones, "Pull up! Pull up!" He pulled up just in time to avoid hitting the expressway! Then, the voice said, "Follow my instructions and I will help you land safely."

He obeyed and landed perfectly. Thinking that it was the air traffic controller who had helped him, he immediately looked for him to thank him. But when he found him, the man said, "Listen, we lost contact with you when I told you that there was a heavy fog. None of us managed to speak to you after that." The pilot realized then that God had sent an angel to lead him to safety.

Beloved, your heavenly Father is watching over you. That is why no evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your dwelling. And He has a host of angels to keep you in all your ways!

Thought Of The Day

Don’t be fearful because your heavenly Father and His angels are watching over you.

Joseph Prince

Decide: Whine or Win?

Choose To Start Winning Today!

To think you won't experience adversity is foolish!
But to think you can't win is even more foolish!
You can win!
I like to say, "Since somebody's got to win, it might as well be me."
Don't give up!
That's what Jesus told Peter after He had warned him that Satan was out to sift him as wheat:
I have prayed for you in particular that you would not give in or give out. Luke 22:32 (Message)
Why would you ever give up
when you know that you are going to win?

Listen to the way the Message Bible says it:

The suffering won't last forever. It won't be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ—eternal and glorious plans they are!—will have you put together and on your feet for good.
1 Peter 5:10-11 (Message)

That's my motivation to keep on resisting, to keep on standing, to keep on fighting and to keep on believing that it's not over until I win!

Most Christians lose their confrontations with the adversary simply because they never choose to win. Winning in life is truly a choice! Success in life is not by accident.
Setttle it!

The Waiting Place- A Good Read

The Waiting Place: Learning to Appreciate Life's Little Delays

The Waiting Place " by Eileen Button is a well written homely about learning from the places of waiting. Instead of cursing the silence; instead of cursing not being able to just rush ahead into something, anything; learning to be patient in the middle of life's circumstances. She shows that its human nature not to want to wait but often we have no choice and must wait anyway. She points out the value and even the importance of this part of life; that we could miss out because we aren't enjoying the journey; and aren't looking for the beauty/holiness of these moments. We often cheat ourselves when we push to make something happen when its really time to wait.
I found her book to be one written with honesty, humor. She opened her life and let us look in. She is truthful in showing us that it is frustrating, waiting is not easy; we will try to fight it but she also makes you think how honest her reactions are; no white washing to make herself look better; just a real person with a real life. Not always pretty subjects, but she let the walls down and connects to the reader. The insight into life as a pastor's wife while not a total surprise, was surprising to see written down in black and white. Not many pastor's or their wives will usually talk about it these things .The few examples that she gave are brutally honest and should cause us as Christians to cut our leaders a break.

Some say " I don't need to go to Church; I'm already saved."

Really. You say, "I read my Bible, I love God; I'm saved;
I pray,
 I don't need anything else."
That usually means you also don't need anybody else.
Wonder why God bothered to tell us we need to gather together?
Didn't sound like a suggestion either.
The Bible is a Love Letter from God
to show us how much He love us; and how to live on earth
& prepare for our heavenly home.
Have you ever thought that your church needs you?
That God set it up that way?
You have gifts, & talents that He has given you to help
grow His church (His people).
There's things you need to learn ;
about God, His Love for you,
What He's called you to do.
And you need God's people so that
you don't get picked off by the devil while you are
doing your " Lone Ranger" thing.

Paul goes on to say in  Romans 12:

Press in....

Today I was listening to a video from Patricia King.
 It was short but powerful.
Its truly an encouraging word not to give up
but to make the choice to press in-
 its a daily choice.
Press in to what?  Press in to be closer to God,
press in to the Word of God-
He's talking to us daily- press in to hear. More.
How can you tell if its God speaking or not?
Well, you can't be safe in that if you don't read His Word.
Press in & worship Him
Press in & lift up praises to Him, He's good!
Press in to speak your heavenly language.
Press in to win! Does that sound unspiritual?
Go back & read, God's all about Victory in Christ Jesus.
He's all about loving & following the Victor He sent.xp media
