Jennifer LeClaire: Birthing Your Prophetic Dreams May Mean Changing Direction

Jennifer LeClaire: Birthing Your Prophetic Dreams May Mean Changing Direction

Jennifer LeClaire  I call them "baby dreams" – and these prophetic encounters have been a running theme in my life over the past decade. It seems God has been laboring with me to birth a new thing for nearly that long. Along the way, there was at least one Ishmael, a couple of near-abortions, and plenty of spiritual warfare. But God in His grace somehow worked all things together for good.

There were lessons in this series of prophetic dreams. When I put those principles into practice it caused what looked like a stillbirth to become a healthy baby. I still don't have all the answers, but God has made one thing clear to me:Sometimes a small shift makes all the difference.
The First Dream: Surrendering My Will
The "baby dreams" started about eight years ago. I had a dream I was pregnant. I was not happy about it because it was going to turn my life upside down – but I knew I couldn't do anything about it. I tried to pretend it wasn't real, but ultimately pretending wasn't an option.
The lesson of this first prophetic dream was that I had to be like Mary, who gave her will over to the Lord despite the trouble it was going to cause her in the natural. I woke up and committed in my heart to let the Lord's will be done in my life and moved ahead. (Photo via Wikipedia)
The Second Dream: Birthing a Man-Child
About a year after that prophetic encounter, I had a second "baby dream." This time, I was in the hospital giving birth. When the baby was born, it was like a man-child. It had the appearance of a baby, but it had the features of a full-grown man. Immediately after the baby was born, he started running toward his goal. Those around me said, "It must be nice to birth a full-grown ministry. That's what you can expect."
The Third Dream: Making Adjustments
Fast-forward another five years. I was in a very uncomfortable position, having the weight of a church plant unexpectedly fall on my shoulders. I didn't sign up to preach, pray, prophesy and administrate the whole church but that's what was happening. I was at a crossroads, praying about whether I should exit or continue to bear the weight – and the spiritual warfare – of another man's vision or move on.
I went to sleep and had another "baby dream." This time I was pregnant. I still wasn't thrilled. I was hungry and the only thing available was some strange combination of eggs and pepperoni. My chair was too low for me to comfortably type on my computer. I had to change into clothes I didn't like. I was thinking about how I could possibly hit the gym with all of this going on. I thought about how I'd be 60 before this kid was grown.

In other words, I was doing a lot of natural reasoning. Eventually, I changed my clothes into something that wasn't ideal but still wasn't too bad. I ate the eggs for the protein and skipped the unhealthy pepperoni. I got a taller chair so I could type more comfortably. Then I woke up. I told one of my friends involved in the church plant about the dream, including the eggs and pepperoni. I had never heard of eggs and pepperoni as a dish – but it was one of her favorites. (Go figure. God wanted her to bear witness to the dream.)
From that dream I learned that I had to make sacrifices and adjustments to do the will of God. In other words, there would be some aspects of birthing this ministry that were uncomfortable, but there were ways to adjust to the circumstances and plow through the pain to get to the goal line of God's ultimate will.
At first, I thought it was a message to keep bearing the weight of the church plant. But when the church planter manifested with wrong motives, it became abundantly clear that his vision wasn't my burden to bear and God released me. He actually used the experience to push me into what He really had in mind the whole time.
The Fourth Dream: Shifting Your Direction
In the last "baby dream," I finally got the message – and it changed everything. I was nine months pregnant but the baby had stopped moving. The baby wasn't kicking or rolling or showing any sign of life. (This is about how I felt after leaving the church plant.) (Photo via flickr)
In the prophetic dream I thought the baby was dead and I panicked. Then, suddenly, I had the unction to shift the baby's position with gentle pressure from my hand. (I later researched this and discovered there's a name for it: the Diaphragmatic Release.) When I did, I could feel the baby kicking again. I knew all was well.
Here's the lesson I took away from this dream, which connected with the previous baby dreams: Sometimes things look dead but you just have to reposition yourself for life. It doesn't always take much. Just one gentle movement in the right direction can cause God to breathe on that thing again so you can birth it and begin nurturing what God has given you to steward.
If God has given you something to birth, it may be time to pull an Ezekiel and speak to those dry bones. It may be time to pull an Elijah and raise it from the dead. It may be time to walk away from the Ishmael, refuse to abort and just reposition yourself to receive what God intended all along. You could just be in the wrong place or in the wrong time or with the wrong people. When you decide to obey, when you decide to reposition yourself into God's perfect plan, the baby he has given you to birth will thrive in His grace. Amen

How to Defeat the Insidious Spirit of Jezebel

How to Defeat the Insidious Spirit of Jezebel

EXCERPT:

There have been strong lines drawn between God's prophets and Jezebel. Remember, it was the wicked Queen Jezebel who is credited with killing the Lord's prophets. Obadiah risked his life by hiding a hundred prophets in two caves and feeding them bread and water, while Jezebel's own prophets sat at a table overflowing with rich food and wine (see 1 Kings 18:4, 19). From this contrast we see there are carnal rewards for cooperating with Jezebel in this lifetime, and there are eternal rewards for refusing to tolerate that spirit.

By the same token, God will not wait until eternity to pour out judgments on those who refuse to repent of flowing in a Jezebel spirit. Nor will those who refuse to tolerate that spirit go unrewarded in this lifetime. I can tell you this from experience. If you refuse to bow down to Jezebel—no matter what it costs you—God will repay you, at least in part, even now.

P-19 KIDS

ABSOLUTELY FASCINATING! From the mother of 19 children who produced the great ministers John and Charles Wesley, founders of the Wesleyan Methodist movement, here are 16 house rules she lived by:

Through much adversity, she dedicated her life to instilling a sense of Christian Destiny into each of her children. Her children went on to change the world.
Here are 16 rules she laid down in her home.

1. Eating between meals not allowed.

2. As children they are to be in bed by 8 p.m.

3. They are required to take medicine without complaining.

4. Subdue self- will in a child, and those working together with God to save the child's soul.

5. To teach a child to pray as soon as he can speak.

6. Require all to be still during Family Worship.

7. Give them nothing that they cry for, and only that when asked for politely.

8. To prevent lying, punish no fault which is first confessed and repented of.

9. Never allow a sinful act to go unpunished.

10. Never punish a child twice for a single offense.

11. Comment and reward good behavior.

12. Any attempt to please, even if poorly performed, should be commended.

13. Preserve property rights, even in smallest matters.

14. Strictly observe all promises.

15. Require no daughter to work before she can read well.

16. Teach children to fear the rod.

ON DISCIPLINE
Susannah Wesley believed that for a child to grow into a self-disciplined adult, he/she must first be a parent-disciplined child. To her, the stubborn flesh was the hardest battle for Christians to fight, and Godly parents would do well to equip their children to overcome it early.

She writes:
When the will of a child is totally subdued, and it is
brought to revere and stand in awe of the parents, then a great many childish follies may be passed by. I insist on the conquering of the will of children betimes, because this is the only strong and rational foundation of a religious education when this is thoroughly done, then a child is capable of being governed by reason and piety.

How many of these rules do you use in your home?

P- R U READY?

A Prayer Stop Poem: "Are You Ready?"
Twas the night before Jesus came and all through the house,
Not a creature was praying, not one in the house.
Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care,
In hopes that Jesus would not come there.
The children were dressing to crawl into bed,
Not one ever kneeling or bowing a head.
And Mom in her rocker with baby on her lap,
Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap.
When out of the East there arose such a clatter,
I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash!
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here.
With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray,
I knew in a moment this must be THE DAY!
The light of His face made me cover my head,
It was Jesus returning just like He had said.
And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth,
I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself.
In the Book of Life which He held in His hand,
Was written the name of every saved man.
He spoke not a word as He searched for my name;
When He said "It's not here" my head hung in shame.
The people whose names had been written with love,
He gathered to take to His Father above.
With those who were ready He rose without a sound,
While all the rest were left standing around.
I fell to my knees, but it was too late,
I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate.
I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight;
Oh, if only I had been ready tonight.
In the words of this poem the meaning is clear,
The coming of Jesus is drawing near.
There's only one life and when comes the last call,
We'll find that the Bible was true after all!

P-KEEP YOUR HAPPINESS

P-PULL THE PLUG

Satan Stole the Revelation God Gave Me

Satan Stole the Revelation God Gave Me

The following is a testimony of how satan stole the revelation of "how to hear God's voice" from Greg Bachnik.
I learned to hear God’s voice online but didn’t have much experience when you (Mark Virkler) visited my church back in the late 90’s and taught your course on two-way journaling.  It was absolutely amazing.  In fact our church became on fire with our conversations with God.  We were in the midst of the revival that Toronto spawned and they were such wonderful times.
But for whatever reason our pastor became upset with what was going on and spoke against our two-way conversations, saying something like, “If God is just saying good stuff, if there is no conviction against sin in your conversation, it is not God.” In other words, he was sin focused and expected God to be as well.

My Experience with God Was Stolen

That comment turned off my two-way conversations wtih God for a long time.  Occasionally I would journal but in the back of my mind the seeds of doubt had been sown.
Then this January I took a trip to New Zealand where I met Mark Holloway.  It was just one of those chance encounters.  I rented a motorcycle to tour the islands, Mark is a biker, we hit it off and he helped my journey immeasurably.  I knew he had written a book but I wasn’t much interested until he asked if he could send me his blog excerpts. They are his current conversations with God.
I said yes and immediately I was struck with the supernatural quality of his conversation.  Almost immediately his conversation spurred me to re-initiate my own and it has been amazing ever since.
I am a missionary in Asia with Iris Missions.  I forwarded Mark's blog to my students and the same thing happened with them.  They began their conversations with God. My conversations with God are changing the way we do discipleship. Discipleship is a subject keen to the heart of any missionary.
Previously I taught hearing God’s voice but for the purpose of prophesying and at the end of the process. Now I am beginning to teach hearing God’s voice for the purpose of conversation, intimacy and it's the first thing we teach. Of course we still teach the Bible but we teach them to have listening hearts as they read Scriptures.
I am helping get “The Freedom Diaries” translated into the language because I believe God wants to use this book to transform His church into a body of believers alive with current, relevant, revelation of the Heart of God through one on one conversation with Him.
Blessings,
Greg Bachnik

Jealously Guarding and Protecting the Revelation God Gives

Bill Johnson says in his book, Hosting the Presence, "God will give us the measure of His presence that we are willing to jealously guard" (pg. 191).
Jesus said it this way, "When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart... the seed was sown on the rocky places... this is the man who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no firm root in himself, but is only temporary, and when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he falls away" (Matt. 13:19-21 NASB).

Action - Focus for Three Months and GET It!

Get God's Word firmly engrafted into your heart in whatever area God is asking you to master. I highly recommend a minimum of three months of focused, intentional effort (James 1:25). That is what I do and that is why we set up all our training as three month experiences, which you can do alone or, if possible, in a group or under a coach.

The Promise of Jesus, and the Caution of Jesus

For whoever has, to him more shall be given, and he will have an abundance (Matt. 13:12).
Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe to stumble, it would be better for him if, with a heavy millstone hung around his neck, he had been cast into the sea (Mk. 9:42).

P-Weird Propetic People? NO!

"We have the chance, I believe, to live an extraordinary life. We have an opportunity as prophetic people to turn the tables on people who say, "Prophetic people are just weird" because they don't understand what we are doing or what we are saying. What if we could become brilliantly weird? What if we could become weird in an outrageously famous way? What if actually we could lead the charge into something, be the river of encouragement, be the flow, be the voice of blessing, favor and release? What if we could consider ourselves as freedom fighters against the enemy but not against people?"

P-WORD ABOUT THE BATTLE & 2015

"At this moment the spirit of seeing and knowing came upon me and I see a crossroad. We are RIGHT there. We r getting ready to cross over. Many are coming w us. All the recent frustration, lies, discouragement were all traps or potential hindrances of the enemy bc he saw what was coming. The warfare is behind u and before u is a new authority, and new place of grace. Everything that has happened in 2014 was all preparation for 2015. U will be glad u didn't give in for out of this season of trail has come a victory that surpasses all ur understanding. Keep ur focus on the eternal things as I have told u says the Lord. For what the enemy has meant to harm you has only served to promote you. I hear the Spirit of the Lord CHARGING and uttering His voice before His great army. You have been trained and raised up as an exceedingly strong and great army. Chosen to live in these perilous times, but WATCH and see what I am going to do. I not only have preserved you I am going to PROPELL you. I hear Him saying that there is arising an army of WARRIORS who are strong and MIGHTY OVERCOMERS. YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN out of these fires of affliction to go forth w the fresh fire of authority and boldness. I see us.... I see us crossing . We marching and all tho different, we as r as one. We don't break rank but prefer one another. I also see many of u picking UP AND CARRYING the wounded and the weak over to this new place. Now the silence of 2014 has SERVED my people well bc I've used it to cause u to dig deep and to fine tune u. I see many of u marching and shaking off weights, cares and restrictions. I see many of you preaching and teaching to few and for some of u many, I see a fire resting on u. The fire of His Presence." Rev. Margie Grotto Fleurant

It’s Time to Get Ahabs out of Our Pulpits

It’s Time to Get Ahabs out of Our Pulpits

church pulpit

It's time to get the Ahabs out of our pulpits and replace them with leaders who will not tolerate Jezebel. (Anneli Salo/Wikimedia Commons)

Pastors generally believe same-sex marriage and abortion are wrong, but most of them won't talk to their congregations about it for fear of losing members.
Those were the opening words of an article I wrote last week called "Most Pastors Avoid Controversial Issues to Keep Tithes Up." The article was based on a study from the Barna Group.
According to the study, fewer than 10 percent of pastors will speak to key issues of the day even though they agree the Bible speaks to every one of them. Most pastors are passive, willing to do "almost nothing" to get people active in politics.
"Controversy keeps people from being in the seats, controversy keeps people from giving money, from attending programs," George Barna said on America Family Radio's Today's Issues broadcast.
I have to wonder. Do pastors who turn a blind eye to sin in the nation—such as same-sex marriage and abortion—to keep people in the seats, giving money and attending programs also turn a blind eye to sin in the church for the same reasons? Selah.
Ahab Tolerates Sin
As I considered the Barna study results, I couldn't help but think of leaders in the Bible who were passive about sin. I thought of Adam, who allowed Eve to influence him to rebel against God rather than rising up in his authority over the Garden of Eden. I thought of Eli, who didn't deal with his sinful sons. And I thought of King Ahab, the husband of none other than the prophet-murdering queen called Jezebel.
Ahab tolerated sin and goes down in biblical history as one who "did more to provoke the Lord God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel who were before him" (1 Kings 16:33). What on earth did Ahab do to win that dishonor? He set up altars to false gods, for one thing. He also turned a blind eye to Jezebel's sinful ways.
Scripture tells us "Jezebel massacred the prophets of the Lord" (1 Kings 18:4). We also know that Jezebel vowed to kill Elijah after he did away with hundreds of her false prophets (1 Kings 19:1). Later, Jezebel had Naboth falsely accused and killed so Ahab could take possession of his field (1 Kings 21).
Ahab knew quite well that Jezebel was having God's true prophets murdered, but he took a passive attitude toward sin. Ahab knew that Jezebel was out for Elijah's head, but he took a passive attitude toward protecting a man who had just led the nation into repentance (see 1 Kings 18:17-39). Ahab knew Jezebel was willing to murder Naboth to steal his inheritance, but he stood passively by as Jezebel signed his name to the man's death warrant.
Get Ahab out of the Pulpit
Over and over again, we see Ahab was willing to tolerate Jezebel's sin to get what he wanted. Ahab personalities are weak, easily intimidated, and unwilling to do anything that will rock the boat. Ahab personalities are insecure people-pleasers whom the devil has an easy time controlling. It's time to get the Ahabs out of our pulpits.
Charles G. Finney, a leader in America's Second Great Awakening, recorded these words on Dec. 4, 1843:
"Brethren, our preaching will bear its legitimate fruits. If immorality prevails in the land, the fault is ours in a great degree. If there is a decay of conscience, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the public press lacks moral discrimination, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the church is degenerate and worldly, the pulpit is responsible for it. If the world loses its interest in religion, the pulpit is responsible for it. If Satan rules in our halls of legislation, the pulpit is responsible for it. If our politics become so corrupt that the very foundations of our government are ready to fall away, the pulpit is responsible for it."
It's time to get the Ahabs out of our pulpits and replace them with leaders who will not tolerate Jezebel; with men and women of God who will confront sin in society and in the church; and with pastors and prophets who are not blind as bats leading the church into a ditch of destruction.
We're all responsible to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling (see Phil. 2:12), but pastors also are to be an example to the flock (see 1 Peter 5:3). That means loving what God loves and hating what God hates. I'm praying for another Great Awakening, and I'm praying it starts in the pulpits.

Angels: My Personal Hegais

Angels: My Personal Hegais

Mark Virkler's picture Submitted by Mark Virkler on August 16, 2014 - 15:41

Today we're going to have my daughter, Charity Kayembe, share the next segment of her exciting blog series with us.

Welcome to part six of Angels: God's Servants, My Friends. If you would like to read about the day Jesus introduced me to my guardian angels, as well as some Scripture verses He highlighted for me about them, please check it out here.

The Inside Scoop

So what are some ways my angels assist me? And maybe even in a different, helpful way from the Lord's own personal intervention Himself? I mean, I’m a daughter of God! What do they know that I don’t, and how did they find it out anyway?
Well for one thing, they’ve been around a lot longer! They’ve seen more, they get how life works – the enemy’s tactics for one. And also about heaven, and Jesus. They’ve been watching Father and Jesus and Holy Spirit and how they do things and what's best for them for (almost) forever. I just showed up a few decades ago; my angels have been serving Father for millennia. They know what blesses Him more than I do! They know what Jesus likes better than I do.

In a Multitude of Counselors…

I mean, it’s almost kind of like Esther preparing to spend her night with the King. All the maidens could pick anything they wanted for the evening, but what did Esther do?
She talked to Hegai, the king’s eunuch, who obviously would have known the king way better than Esther did – and she asked him what he recommended. So that’s what she took, and she found favor (Esther 2:15).
So I’m betrothed to Christ, and I want to bless Him and love on Him and serve Him and Father in a way that they appreciate most. What’s best for them? How do they like to be worshiped? What do they enjoy hearing whispered in their ears from the lips of their children? What makes them laugh or brings them the most joy and pleasure?

Loving Love Himself

Well, since my angels have been observing various worship and acts of service and love expressed from millions of children down through the ages, I bet they have more of a clue about all of the above than I do. So angels can kind of be like our Hegais in a way. Great advice givers, who know more about some God stuff than we do, simply because they’ve been around longer, hung out with Him more, and have seen His relationships play out with His family over and over again.
It's almost like when I threw Leo a surprise party shortly after we were married and wanted it to be extra special. So unbeknownst to him, I talked with his fam, who unlike me, had known him all his life. That way I could get everything just perfect and exactly how he'd want it to be.
And so it is with Jesus. I want to love Him in His love language. And, while the irony of trying to "surprise" an omniscient God is not lost on me, I still think He appreciates the gesture. I know that I have captured His heart with a single glance of my eyes (Song of Solomon 4:9). When He feels that much for me, how can I not give Him my best love in return?

For God’s Sake

That’s how it makes it be about HIM. It’s not angels for angels' sakes. They would never stand for that! Theyalways defer to God. Always talk about Jesus. Always and only have His interests and work at heart. The reason that I’m my angels’ whole world is because I’m their assignment. They bless Father by taking care of mebecause that’s what He’s asked of them. So they do it perfectly and faithfully and happily, because they love God too and live to serve and honor Him.
So I guess I just feel like if my angels can help me be a better daughter of God, and a better friend of Holy Spirit, and a better lover of Jesus... what could be better than that?

What About You?

Have your guardian angels helped fill you in on anything lately? Have they given you the scoop on any aspects of the kingdom, or serving our King?
We had some great comments back on our last blog! If you haven't seen those awesome angel stories yet, you'll definitely want to check them out at the end of the article.
And please feel free to continue sharing your experiences with us in the comments below! We absolutely love hearing what heaven looks like to you. :)

P-KIDS & GOD

   BECKY FISCHER- ON FACEBOOK

What a great example of what is happening among young people who are taught about God and His Presence (I just love it):

One of our KIMI followers wrote on Facebook today:
“When my 11 year old son can't stop talking about the
amazing and powerful things that God did in the
services at camp, how God touched him in a intense
way, filled him with the Holy Spirit, released his prayer
language, filled him with fire and boldness to pray over
other kids and adults and see God speak through him
with prophetic words and release healing, Holy Spirit
belly laughing and even crying for no reason, ALL of that
and no "non-spiritual" fun stuff talked about- you know
that this camp has changed him for life…this wouldn't
have happened without the best Pastors and Youth
Pastors and Youth Leaders you could ever ask for!”
Then she added: “Becky Fischer, you may not be at our
church in the flesh but your curriculum is and it is
impacting a new generation in our church.”

P-"AGONY A CLUE

GRAHAM COOKE-FACEBOOK

"Agony is a clue to what we are called to restore.

What makes us cry is a guide

to what He will empower us to do.

It is locked up inside of us

and is released as we focus on God’s plan.

What grieves you today?

Do you know you have the power to heal

 what you grieve over?"

Steve ShultzFrom the desk of Steve Shultz:
Just like prophets, seers also can be "seen" as a peculiar people... many of them live in the supernatural, naturally. They see what the Father is releasing and call it forth upon the earth. If you are a seer or even "not sure" if you have this gifting, you'll appreciate this latest teaching by Barbie Breathitt... it's a real "eye-opener" so to speak.
Does this describe you: "Seers receive revelation beforehand as they wait upon the Lord's powerful, manifested presence. Their revelations come through their ability to rest in the realm of visions, dreams, pictures, lights, angelic messengers, and trances."
This is not an ordinary word, but an extra-ordinary word for those called to be seers!
Enjoy!

 Barbie Breathitt:
Barbie BreathittSeers Primary Function
The Old Testament refers to seers with two words: ra'ahand chozeh. Both of these words indicate that the primary function of seers is to see the concealed realm – things that God shows them. Seers receive revelation knowledge through the invisible angelic realms of visions, trances, and dreams.
Seers are called to relate to God through the intimacy of faith, hope, and love. An atmosphere of peaceful meditation allows seers to enter into the spiritual perception of visionary sight. They are able to gaze into the invisible realms of glory and behold the beauty of the Lord, and so are you! David said it this way: One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to meditate in His temple (Psalm 27:4).
Beholding Jesus or "meditating upon His Word" is the act that brings transformation to the heart and mind. For what we behold, we become (see Joshua 1:8, Romans 12:2, and 2 Corinthians 3:18). So let us gaze at the beautiful Son!
via flickrRa'ah means "to look and see as in a vision, to gaze, view, experience, look upon, behold, discern, or to perceive by the Spirit." Chozeh means "to behold a vision, stargazer, or to gaze into the realm of the Spirit with approval and agreement, a prophet that sees, a seer."(Photo via flickr)
Seers receive revelation beforehand as they wait upon the Lord's powerful, manifested presence. Their revelations come through their ability to rest in the realm of visions, dreams, pictures, lights, angelic messengers, and trances.
I regularly experience this type of revelatory phenomenon. For me, it takes quiet times of worship, extended peace and solitude, meditation on His Word, and a hushed reflection on the presence of the Lord. Once I am able to still my mind my spirit begins to release love toward God. When I feel His love moving on me, I begin to soak in an atmosphere of panoramic visions. The revelations I have received for my books, messages, and articles come through these quality alone times while resting in the Holy Spirit's presence.

Seers Interact with the Spirit Realm
Seers interact with the spiritual realms of heavenly creatures, beasts, lights, winds, and a host of heavenly beings and angelic messengers. Seers have developed an intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus, who is the only true gateway or door to the spiritual realm. When Believers enter the realm of the supernatural through Jesus, their youthfulness and strength are renewed like that of the eagle (see Ephesians 4:23, Psalm 103:5).
The presence of the Living Word renews their minds. A literal physical and spiritual restoration process takes place in the presence of the anointing. They are given beauty for their ashes and words of restoration for the ashes of others (see Isaiah 61:3). Jesus said, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me" (see John 10). Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the sole gateway that leads to God, the Father, who alone grants eternal life.
Seers mirror God's actions to give them entrance or manifestation, thus God's presence is established on earth. Therefore, seers communicate as extensions of God's limitlessness and His expansion. Seers are used by God to bring into existence what God brings out, displays, or reveals through the breathing in and out of the ebb and flow of the Spirit's creativity. (Photo via flickr)
God is still intricately connected and very much involved in creating dreams and hearing and answering prayers. God brings a heightened sensitivity to our spiritual perceptions by aligning them with our natural senses. God wants us to be able to see Him, perceive Him, and know what He is doing so that we are able to release it. God mirrors Himself in and through us as He steps into our reality, out of the invisible realm, and into the natural realm, transforming it into the supernatural.
Demonstrating His Presence
Seers are witnesses to the power and glory of God's divine reality. They demonstrate God's presence so that people can see His loving-kindness manifested through the miraculous. Seers see what God is doing, they follow what He is doing, and they bring it forth into manifestation.
Seers demonstrate God's presence in their everyday lives and in the marketplace in order to touch, heal, and deliver those with whom they come into contact. Through seers, we see God heal in a practical application. Whenever they see a need, they fill it with the presence of God. Seers see into the depths of the Spirit, yet gaze beyond "nothingness" to give evidence of God. God did not create a world, set it in motion and then step out of our existence.
Jennifer PageSeers reflect revelation to the outside world from the dimensions of God Himself. God is so magnificent that we can only take a small sliver of Him and begin to reveal it. Every one of us has a part in revealing the greatness of God. We each have a part in demonstrating God's presence because we are one body. (Photo via flickr)
God is looking for a place to rest His head. He is the Head. We are the body that the head comes to rest upon. When God finds His resting place on the shoulders of a body that operates in His authority, the Body of Christ will rise up in powerful demonstration, following His lead.
