BOOK REVIEW- DATING A COUGAR

After two decades of looking for true love and never finding it, aging model and lingerie designer, Alexa Ranger, had finally given up searching. It’s shocking at fifty to find herself wanting a sex life again, and even more shocking to be an older woman attracted to a younger man.
Thirty-eight year old, medically retired Marine, Casey Carter, is incredibly sexy, but a relationship with the man is totally out of the question. Casey is related to her daughter’s boyfriend. The last thing Alexa needs is another talk-show worthy drama in her already complicated life, no matter how well Casey kisses.

About the NEVER TOO LATE series

Tired of younger heroines and heroes getting all the action? How about something different? The Never Too Late series is a collection of six sexy, romantic comedies about finding love and romance after turning 40 and 50.  These contemporary romances are intentionally heavy on humor and light on tears. The heroines are successful in life, but not successful in love, as their friends are quick to point out. The heroes are drool worthy, confident, and know what it takes to make a woman feel loved and wanted. AMAZON  5 Stars

I really liked the main characters and  their equally interesting side kicks.  Alexa was one unique person all on her own.  So was Casey who had gone through some difficult times  of his ownJenna, who is Alexa's daughter adds to the story and you find in some ways she's very much like her mom.  Those  Ranger women are beautiful, tough and stubborn.  I like how in the story the general consensus among Alexa's friends and family was that she finally had met her match in him.  Sydney was Alexa's friend slash assistant slash business partner.  Just letting you know that he is gay, in case that is a deal breaker for you reading this story.  He was not only that but a faithful, "got your back" kind of friend to Alexa and their oddball family of sorts.  Regina and Lauren are two of Alexa's long time friends who are as different as night and day.  This book promised humor and it delivered.  Also the physical difficulties that Casey was dealing with felt realistic.   I liked how some of the ways that he dealt with it , some of them were humorous. You just couldn't keep a good man down.
As Alexa and Casey spent more time together, you got to see the closeness of ths unusual unit, something that I also enjoyed.

There is an excerpt of,"Dating Dr. Notorious" at the end of this book.  Its about Dr. Regina Logan, who added so much to this book .
