BOOK REVIEW- GAMBLED

Brock Gamble’s epic fall from the Titan Group labeled him a traitor. He betrayed his men. He failed his family. And when he thought he’d hit the lowest point, his wife walked out with their children, leaving him alone to drown himself in the bottle.
Surviving an abduction didn’t end the nightmare for Sarah Gamble. The aftershocks of post-traumatic stress disorder hit her hard. Self-doubt and confusion. Anger and hurt. Running away was an easy escape until Brock shows up on her doorstep offering a trip to paradise and a promise to fix their marriage. Before the couple can search for answers, Brock is pulled back into the very world that Sarah is so scared of—kidnapping, cartels, and guns—and the stakes are too high for either one of them to ignore.  AMAZON  4 Stars

Good story that I think can be read as a stand alone.  Sure, it would be richer having read the prior book,"Westin's Chase." but its not impossible to enjoy without it.   I did read the other one first so it made me want to know where Brock was going to be able to go after his Epic Fail.  I think the author did a pretty good job with the story.  This is a Novella but it doesn't feel like it, because its action packed.  Also it has a repentant Brock, the hot guy who knows he screwed up but hopes that there can be a HEA for his wife, children and himself.   He figures he's already lost his second family, The Titan group.  The jury might still be out on that one.  Some of the women in the group, have reached out to Sarah though making her feel a part of that family.
There is a twist and adventure coming in the story to add to the "family" drama.
2 Last things...there will be at some point married sex
and there is a Excerpt for another book," Chased" at the end of this book.
