BOOK REVIEW- BEACHCOMBER HEAT

Beachcomber Heat: Beachcomber Investigations Book 6 by [Queen, Stephanie]
This summer's heat wave on Martha's Vineyard is breaking records, but so is the crime wave. A rash of jewel thefts creates a demand for more security than the police can handle.
Shana insists that Beachcomber Investigations should take the case of protecting the would-be missing jewels because she needs the big fee from the rich client. Dane will do almost anything to keep her happy--and staying with him on the island. Almost anything.
The case turns dangerous when a dead body turns up and old enemies are behind the thefts. Dane has to decide how far he'll go to catch the thief--and how far he'll go to keep his partnership with Shana. AMAZON 4 STARS

The title of this book is spot on when it comes to heat.  The weather is hot, the "case" had heat with its twists and turns and the heat between Dane and Shana just went up another notch.  Not necessarily talking about sex, but the push-pull between them.  Although there are references to other enemies (other cases) it really doesn't make it harder to reading this book.  Although, some of the other books did show you the tighter relationship between Dane and Cap, with Shana joining them.
I'm starting to get just about as impatient as Shana when it comes to a decision of what to do about Dane, and if they could have more.  Time to fish or cut bait, people.  Of course, my hope is that they make it work.  It just feels like its time.  Maybe in the next book, but lets face it even if they do get together in a commited way, they won't be the "normal" couple.  I can live with that.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
