BOOK REVIEW- THE CHRISTMAS COWBOY by Shanna Hatfield

The Christmas Cowboy: (Sweet Western Holiday Romance) (Rodeo Romance Book 1) by [Hatfield, Shanna]

Married to her job as a corporate trainer for a successful direct sales company, Kenzie Beckett doesn’t have time for a man. Burned twice by two-timing losers, she has no intention of there being an opportunity for a third time. When a handsome rodeo cowboy catches her eye at the airport, she resolves it will take more than a pair of dusty boots and a dimpled smile to charm her.
Tate Morgan can handle the toughest saddle bronc on the rodeo circuit, but he loses the ability to think straight around the beautiful woman he keeps running into at the airport. Completely captivated by a woman who makes it clear she loathes cowboys, Tate will have to work a little holiday magic if he wants to win her heart.   AMAZON   3 STARS

A sweet, charming, somewhat predictable, clean story.  It has a good family feel to it even when things aren't perfect with the families.  Both of the main characters are charming and there is also some good secondary people to the story.  It kind of moved at a slow pace with more telling about what they were doing.. meals, shopping, rodeos.  I realized after reading that although there were conversations between all of the people, including Tate and Kenzie, it sort of lacked depth.  Maybe I'm wrong but it sure began to feel a lot about describing everyday routines.   I'm not saying that we don't need that in a story but there were times when even the conversations seemed stilted and stiff.
