BOOK REVIEW- Property of the Vampyren Prince by Seth Eden

She remade herself in the wake of the alien invasion. Kiera could work on cars and plumbing, and scavenge for food.

She didn't know how to survive the attention of a Vampyren prince, one of Earth's invaders.

He was seventeenth in line for the Vampyren throne. Just enough privilege to ask the Council to give her to him, and to keep her family alive.

Not enough to save her from brutal punishment when her actions threaten Vampyren interests.

Their different worlds make them opposites of each other.

Opposites attract.    AMAZON  3.5 STARS

Brace yourself, some of this is going to be a rough ride.  For the most part the Vampyren consider the humans of earth to be just cattle, just animals.  And that's how inhumanly they are being treated.  So, there are times when the story is brutal but thankfully it's not super descriptive about it.
Another rough point is the fact that the aliens have turned a place into what Kiera calls a whorehouse.  And she's not wrong about that.  So even when Loren is gentler with Kiera it was still  kind of a hard to deal with some of it.
I will say that it was pretty well written and different in some ways from what I was expecting.
There is really good world building in the story and I really thought the eBook cover was eye catching.
In the end it did end with some hope and I did like the "romance" between Loren and Kiera.  So I would have to say that I liked it with some reservations.
