When joy and peace partner together, not only do they eradicate negativity, they also guarantee an increase in our trust and faith with the Lord. These along with the rest of the Fruits of the Spirit are who God is, and therefore they are all already present in our new man.
As we learn to connect with all things pertaining to the life of godliness that lives within us, we will experience peace and joy connecting together in our hearts. This moves us out of need and into strength designed to overwhelm all circumstances and overpower all opposition.
