BOOK REVIEW- VAMPIRES ARE FOREVER /BOOK#8

(Argeneau Vampire Book 8)
Inez Urso is beginning to have her doubts. Her business associate Thomas Argeneau has some interesting traits, like an allergic reaction to the sun, excellent night vision, and not much of an appetite for food. And to top it all off, he just tried to bite her neck . . . but maybe that was a sign of passion. If so, she'd be happy to experience more, despite her determination not to mix business with pleasure.Well, if not forever, at least two hundred years. Inez is the most beautiful woman he's seen in centuries. Those luscious lips, seductive curves, and her elegant neck . . . he just couldn't resist the temptation of one little bite. Now Thomas will do anything to convince her that only an immortal like him can satisfy her all night long . . .AMAZON   I'm giving it 4 stars on Amazon.

Good story. The dilemma of this one surprised me but it was also a cute one.  I'm talking about Thomas and Inez and their real first meeting and the trouble it caused.   Oh, they had met briefly some time ago but not very  long and hadn't been formally introduced.  I really liked Inez, she was just a bundle of contradictions.   She was human all the way through and although she is the best on the business side of her life, even she admits she is socially inept.   Thomas appears to be a lazy, loaf about dilettante but he's so much deeper than that.  Something that Inez began to appreciate about him is his thoughtfulness and old world courtesy.    His substitute mother, Marguerite had taught him well and Thomas has those qualities that she didn't know she missed until she experienced them with him.  There is humor in this book, sex of course because its a vampire story.  Unexpected, until I began to read this series is the pain caused by injuries, healing and turnings.Well, maybe not so much the turnings, most other book about vampires do mention that in one measure or another.   I thought that the "history" of how vampires came to be was a good one.  This book does finish except for one mystery that must be solved. It is something that leaves room for more adventures with this family.
