I liked how the author pointed out how much we have sufffered as a nation/a people who grew up without fathers. Or father's whose standards could never be met. That we long for our Father's Blessing; both our natual and supernatural Father. He shared a personal experience that showed how he was healed by his father's blessing. What a great way to put it.
I find it interesting when people share the many benefits that Jesus bought for us on the Cross. Sometimes I think we miss some of them. Interesting point though about Jesus being rejected by Father God on the Cross so that we could be adopted sons and daughters.
Another important point was that its vital to learn to love, really love. Scripture is shared as was some experiences from the author and others. Learning to love and showing true humility.
There was a good explanation of what Blessing really is, as well as the spirit of poverty. Something that often blocks the very thing God is trying to do for us.
The Decrees that are in this book, are short and direct, something I really liked with the added plus of being scripturally based.
Something to Remember:
C.S. Lewis- If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I am made for another world."
