BOOK REVIEW- PERFECTION UNLEASHED

BOOK REVIEW- PERFECTION UNLEASHED-Two men, one face. One man seeks to embrace destiny, the other to escape it.
Danyael Sabre spent sixteen years clawing out of the ruins of his tortured childhood and finally has everything he wanted—a career, a home, and a trusted friend. To hold on to them, he keeps his head down and plays by the rules. An alpha empath, he is uniquely powerful in a world transformed by the Genetic Revolution, yet his bitter experience has taught him to avoid attention.
When the perfect human being, Galahad, escapes from Pioneer Laboratories, the illusory peace between humans and their derivatives—the in vitros, clones, and mutants—collapses into social upheaval.
The first era of the Genetic Revolution was peaceful. The second is headed for open war.
Although the genetic future of the human race pivots on Galahad, Danyael does not feel compelled to get involved and risk his cover of anonymity, until he finds out that the perfect human being looks just like him.    AMAZON

Dramatic start.  Some really good action and it really drew me in with the very interesting group of people.  Very much a character driven story as well as a good science fiction novel.  I also got drawn into the emotions of Danyael and Galahad.  I felt like the author did a really good job of making you feel some of the hopelessness, grief and also the hope of those 2 people.   Lucien was also another person in the story, who added so much.  He was a true friend to Danyael, something that Danyael desperately needed.  There were other people who were pulling for and helping both Danyael and Galahad.   There sure were enough people who wanted to just "use" him and Galahad.  Plenty of twists and turns to the story.  It also brings an emotional response when it comes to misusing clones and etc. It was different to be able to see them as more than just lab experiments.  Some of the things going on although they are futuristic, may or may not be all that far in the future.
Although a lot of things happened, it didn't really complete everything, so I guess in others words, it ends with a cliffhanger.  What's going to happen next?

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
