Its the Wild West kind of story in the year 1874. An innocent, grieving, young woman on her way to live with her aunts is traveling on a train when the fearsome Walton Gang takes over the train. Will McMillan, is a hardened man who has been part of the gang and their doings for some time now. But even he draws the line at kidnapping, raping and murdering a woman. He's going to have to make a choice; if he's going to make his move, its going to have to be soon and it could get them both killed. Miss Jamie Ellis has to decide if she can really trust him.

It was a good book, with an unexpected story-line and plenty of action. Lots of running, hiding, fighting the elements as well as being tracked by a killer among other things. I did find that a few times it did kind of drag. Of course, it was fairly easily to guess what kind of man Will really was, but it was kind of fun to see him surprised by Jamie's unexpected strengths.
