Book Review: Suddenly A Spy (eBook) 5 Stars

What could be better than a wedding?    What could possibly go wrong?  Everything was coming up Roses for Veronica Sinclair on her Wedding Day.   She has a great family, a gorgeous husband who loves her , and who is totally unlike her ex-husband.   Honesty is something that she values above all else after all the lies of her ex.  Her new husband is as straight arrow as you can get.   So what is going on with the seductive woman who is crashing her wedding and drooling all over Richard (Rick),  suggesting he isn't who he appears to be?    Everything she has ever known is about to be tossed on its ear as she is running for her life with Richard as gunmen interrupt their honeymoon.  What in the world has she gotten herself into?   She finds herself  drawn into Espionage, fake names, disguises, breaking human trafficking rings, as she sorts out her new married life.

I don't care what anyone says, I loved this book.  I enjoyed the people in it and the quick-witted conversations between the characters; especially Veronica.   I could hardly put it down; totally enjoyable fiction. If you're looking for something deep, serious, and probing; this isn't it.  Even with the seriousness of the human slaves, and deaths of the bad guys, it still remained light-hearted in places and adventurous.  Sure, there were several places where I figured out something in the story before it played out.  But it didn't take one thing away from the enjoyment of the story one bit.  I'm hoping there are more books that are written or will be with some of the other people from this book. Vance and Harmony, for one and Veronica's brother Jeff and his new fiance, Courtney, for another.
