Luckily, because of his propensity to be embroiled in so many mishaps, the marriage-minded mamas at the house party have blacklisted him concerning their daughters. However, one beautiful and tempting young woman, unaware of him on any level, seems determined to cast him aside as well. While she treats him not as the heir to a Marquess or a man of any real consequence Zander grows determined to prove he is a worthy option and may just set and get trapped in his own marriage scheme.

This was a charming, emotional story.  One with good main characters that I liked.  That said, it was also a story that really didn't grab a hold of me all that much, sorry to say.

Zander's matchmaking  aunt, Lady Sizemere is really good at what she does.  She is clever and a bit sneaky but Zander loves her.  It was good to see that she was also fond of him even if she didn't put up with any of his guff.  There was true affection there between them.

The story has a good ending after some misunderstandings are worked out. Included with the H.E.A. is a good Epilogue.
