5+ STARS
A winner in so many ways has me giving it 5+ stars.
Callie and James have quite the dramatic introduction to each other times 2. And the drama doesn't end there, in fact it is just starting. Not just drama but the danger or should I say dangers?
The Callie and James kept me interested in what was happening to them. The emotions and sassy conversions were excellent. I kept trying to figure out who was threatening Callie but just ended up chasing my tail. Which was the best possible thing when it comes to this kind of story.
Not only was it a great suspense story but it was also emotional . Some of that emotion came from the unwanted attraction, a romance that both were fighting against. It also has a group of good supporting people from James/Hawk's team. Callie's parents also added a lot to the story even if they weren't the warm, fuzzy kind of people.
Great ending to the story after a major twist towards the end. I definitely would read more from this author. She took me on quite the journey.
On a side note "Rosie" and "Eleanor "made me smile.
