**^BOOK REVIEW- Plain Jane and the Hitman's Wedding (Plain Jane Series Book 5) by Tmonique Stephens

Book Details

Bailey Monroe and Emmet Streeter request the pleasure of your company at their wedding.
Bullets, blood, and mayhem may occur.
Attend at your own risk.

He picked the ring. She picked the location. He picked the date. She said yes to the dress.
And then he left.
Bailey knew who and what she planned on marrying. A hitman. A killer. He promised this was his last job. One more hit to protect a friend and he was done. Their life together would begin.
Well, Bailey’s not having it. Emmet trained her not only to take care of herself, but to bring the pain. She’ll be damned if she sits on the sidelines while he strolls into danger alone.
She’s no one’s flunky, and if that’s how Emmet thinks their marriage will be…
She’s going to find her man and drag him to the altar, and no one—not his billionaire or mob boss besties, or her sociopath of a father—is going to stop her.
Come hell or high water, she'll get her happily ever after…or die trying.

5+ STARS

Having read the first book in this series I was quick to pick up this one.  I wish there had been time to read more in the series but I will be taking care of that later.

This book was MORE.  I didn't think that was possible but there was MORE of everything!   More dangerous enemies coming after Emmet and Hank (Bailey's father).  MORE betrayals. MORE of Hank being the puppet master as well as the Master Assassin. MORE fight scenes, MORE times that Jane finds herself in the middle of danger. MORE scorching hot (blistering even) love scenes between Emmet and Bailey.  They were well done though there was a LOT of them and pretty detailed.  For my taste, there was a bit too much.  But I just kept going through because the story itself was riveting.

The first book was intense and this one was even MORE intense to my way of thinking.  It also included MORE about Bailey's best friend Daisy and MORE about some of people that Emmet had as friends.

The story starts out dramatic and ends the same way!

I received a free ARC of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
