Soul ties. Some are godly (see Col. 2:2). Some are toxic. David and Jonathan had a godly soul tie (1 Sam. 18:1). They shared their hearts with one another but they were not emotionally dependent on each other. They were fully dependent on God. As much as it depends on you, don't allow people to become co-dependent on you. If someone is idolizing you, they can create an ungodly soul tie that pulls on you in the spirit. You can feel it. Always point people back to Jesus. Break unhealthy soul ties and walk in love.
