Foster Child's Heartbreaking Wishlist (p)

This Foster Child’s Gut-Wrenching Wish List Will Break Your Heart Into A Million Pieces

This foster child’s wish list full of things every kid should already have will break your heart.

note from foster child 2

In the United States, over 397,000 children are living without permanent homes in the foster care system. Over a 100,000 are adoptable and are waiting for loving forever families. My brother and his family are foster parents and I have seen first-hand how hard it is for a child to live without a sense of permanence or belonging, with parents that can’t or won’t care for them properly. That’s why when I saw this heartbreaking wish list from an Oklahoma foster child posted on Facebook by Dreamcatchers for Abused Children, I knew I had to share it here. Take a moment to read this foster child’s wish list, give thanks for all you have, and think about how your family can make a difference in the lives of children who need a loving home.
