Overcome Fear and Doubt by Declaring ‘It’s Possible!’
Our Father will always give us a God-sized prophetic dream or task—one that we cannot accomplish in our own strength or with our current resources.
When that dream is fulfilled, Jesus will receive the credit and the glory. Onlookers will know that the only possible explanation for what we have achieved is that God is with us!
Remember Moses and Aaron—a shepherd and a slave, standing in the presence of the mighty Pharaoh of Egypt? (Exodus 5) Or the young shepherd David, standing before a giant with a slingshot and stone? (1 Sam 17) And let’s not forget Paul and Silas, locked in a prison dungeon whilst on a mission for God. (Acts 16)
Inevitably, there will be limiting factors as you pursue God’s purposes—for example not enough time, not enough money, and not enough people.
Take Gideon, for instance, who was sent by God against a powerful Midianite army. Gideon’s band was reduced by God’s design to a mere 300, and yet, with God’s help, he overcame the enemy. (Judges 7)
Sometimes we look at what God is calling us to do for Him and are tempted to shrink back, because it appears to be humanly impossible.
Take Gideon, for instance, who was sent by God against a powerful Midianite army. Gideon’s band was reduced by God’s design to a mere 300, and yet, with God’s help, he overcame the enemy. (Judges 7)
