BOOK REVIEW- UNDER HER SKIN (Lone Star Sisters Book 1)

BOOK REVIEW- UNDER HER SKIN (Lone Star Sisters Book 1)-Lexi Titan can just see the headlines. All of Titanville will be buzzing. Not that she has any other choice. Faced with exactly thirty days to come up with two million dollars, she is out of options. Marry Cruz Rodriguez or lose everything—the successful day spa she built herself, her tyrant of a father's respect. And the long-standing competition with her sisters for the family business.
Cruz has money, success, smoldering good looks—everything but the blue blood needed to become a true member of Texas society. If Lexi agrees to be his fiancĂ©e for six months, lending him her famous father's influence and connections, he'll hand her a check on the spot. And in six months they'll go their separate ways.
But neither one is prepared for their long-ago shared passion to throw a wrench into what would seem to be the perfect deal….AMAZON

Good emotional read.   Okay I am now officially hooked by another Series by Susan Mallery.  I read Book #3 first. That one was about Izzy and Nick, called "Straight from the Hip".  So since I liked that one so much, I read the info on this book and decided to give this book a try.  It was so good with the continuing drama of the Titan family and the "business plan" between Cruz and Lexi.  Love them and leave them Cruz.  No, wait a minute that isn't quite right.  Cruz is the "have sex with them and leave them guy".
OK, that's not something new,  I've read some books with that similar kind of guy.  Cruz was just a bit deeper than some of them.  And Lexi?  She's never been enough for anyone.  No matter how hard she tries,  she just can't seem to get her father, Jed's attention, let alone his love. He's cruel, and manipulative and any love he has is for his Titan empire.   Her sisters show up in this story but now I want to read abut the sister I missed, Skye.  And their friend, Dana and also their half brother Garth. Time for me to read on and catch up.
