BOOK REVIEW- THREE LITTLE WORDS BOOK #12

BOOK REVIEW- THREE LITTLE WORDS-Can first love turn into the real deal? Anything can happen in a sizzling new Fool's Gold story from New York Timesbestselling author Susan Mallery.
Isabel Beebe thinks she's cursed in the romance department. Her teenage crush, Ford Hendrix, ignored all her letters. Her husband left her for another…man. So Isabel has come home to dust off her passion for fashion and run the family bridal shop until her parents are ready to sell it. Then she'll pursue her real dreams. At least, that's the plan, until sexy, charming Ford returns and leaves her feeling fourteen all over again….. Seeing Isabel all grown-up hits bodyguard trainer Ford like a sucker punch. Back when heartbreak made him join the military, her sweet letters kept him sane. Now he can't take his eyes—or his lips—off her. The man who gave up on love has a reason to stay in Fool's Gold forever—if three little words can convince Isabel to do the same.  AMAZON  I'm giving it a 4Star Rating  "I really liked it."

Some really funny conversations, I enjoyed that part a lot.  I even laughed out loud more than once.  Isabel sure got screwed over a few times by people she should have been able to trust.  It made her wonder about her own self-worth and ability to make good decisions.  Ford had his own issues but he sure knew how to tease Isabel, with his claims of just how irresistible he was.  It made for some pretty funny interchanges between the two of them.  As well, as other people in the story.  Ford liked Isabel, she was beautiful fun and wasn't afraid to call him on his crap.  There was sex scenes in this book, for those that want to know about that.  Pretty tastefully done.

There was also the added benefit of Consuelo's story being included.  Its funny as I was reading the story I was thinking, "I sure would like to read about her and her story."  Then suddenly, I was.   I won't spoil it by telling you what man gets her attention, but one does make her start yearning for what she's never had.  Normal.
