One Lonely Widower...Rohn
Lerner is a successful Oklahoma rancher. He's old enough to know what
he likes, and still young enough to enjoy it. But losing his wife five
years ago wore him thin. He's not ready to date, but he needs someone to
share a meal with as badly as someone to warm his bed.
One Woman with a Secret...Bonnie
Martin fled her Oklahoma home years ago, leaving behind her abusive
father, and Rohn, the lost love she never forgot. Now she's back to
settle her father's estate, but she has no idea that she's about to bump
into Rohn or that they'll fall for each other all over again.
One Night That Changes Everything... AMAZON
3 STARS
This book is written in a style that I normally don't care for too much. But in this case the change back and forth between the Summer of 1990 and Present Day of 2015 was fairly smooth. Not to hard to keep up with at all. Especially since they are clearly mentioned when the timeline changes. That I did like.
The pace of this book is slower but also emotional as well.
Both Rohn and Bonnie did make for interesting main characters. So did Tyler, Colton and Justin. All three young men worked for Rohn as ranch hands. They also were more than just ranch hands because there was some friendships mixed in there with their boss.
Bonnie has kept a pretty large secret for years but you know it has to come out. The author did a good job of slowly peeling the secrets out over time.
A H.E.A. does happen at the end of the book, which I liked.
