BOOK REVIEW- The Ladies' Man (Positively Pregnant Book 1778) by Susan Mallery

Rachel Harper is nervous about telling her one-night stand, Carter Brockett, her big news. The thing is, she feels strangely safe with him—worse, she even kind of likes him. But his rakish reputation leaves much to be desired. And what makes Rachel think that Carter will commit this time, when he never has before?    AMAZON 3.5 STARS        Originally published in 2006

This was a fast, charming, flirty story.  Of course it wasn't all sweetness and light because there were some serious things that needed to be dealt with.
Good main characters with a good supporting cast of people.  Mainly, Carter's family who he is really close to.  The closeness and affection between Carter his mother and his sisters was heart-warming.
Rachel still needed healing from the trauma when she was 12 years old but it takes a while for her to even realize that.  But she also has 2 good friends that help her see the light.
I enjoyed the humor in the story a lot.  Most of it came when Carter and Rachel were in conversations.  Some of it also came when just another one of Carter's ex's showed up.  Some still wanted him which Rachel didn't find quite so amusing.  It was amazing how many of those ex's were also still friends with Carter and his family.
