BOOK REVIEW- The Wedding Favor: A Sweet Marriage of Convenience Romance (Your Invitation to Romance Book 1) by Caroline Mickelson
When Ava McKenna left the neighborhood she grew up in, she never planned to look back. And for ten years she didn’t. Not until Mateo Ortega, the handsome and charming boy next door, showed up to ask for her help. Mateo needed a favor, actually he needed a pretend fiancée, and he thought Ava would be the perfect woman for the charade. Ava knew that she owed the Ortega family a favor but when she looked into Mateo’s gorgeous brown eyes she realized that repaying an old debt might jeopardize her heart. AMAZON 3.5 STARS Heat Level: Sweet Romance
This book was a sweet, charming story. Good main characters and a really involved Ortega family. Don't get me wrong, the Ortega family involvement wasn't bad. In fact, they were a very close family which is one of the reasons Mateo made his unusual request. You could feel the closeness. I also liked the background of Ava and Mateo knowing each other for so many years as kids. The Ortega family had been a big part of her life then. The author did a good job with that.
The two M.C.'s have some challenges that you would expect.
It also has a H.E.A. and I'm glad Ava ad Mateo got it because I did like both of them.
