This is a fun, fast, charming story. Ok, Gen is often kind of wacky but she is also loved by many in the community. Her brother Joe is over-protective of her and that does cause her troubles.
You probably will have to suspend some belief when it comes to the part where Gen marries a Wallace look-a-like. But hey, it's fiction people.
Gen has been in love with Wallace for so long, she's starving to get his real attention.
Wallace? He's a bit clueless in a guy kind of way. Not a bad guy, he does tend to try to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders when it comes to being a responsible person.
He has always been there for his family, making sacrifices so that they could be taken care of.
Towards the end I wanted to slap him in the head though because he just over thought things Way TOO Much. But he does finally get a clue and Wallace and Gen get their H.E.A.
