This was a quick story with some interesting ideas. Even though it wasn't super deep, it also wasn't too bad.
Both Finn and Marissa were really good main characters. Finn's culture was well defined as well. Finn's cousin Kal also figures in the story as well. Kal has a higher rank than Finn but still they are fairly close.
Marissa's ex boyfriend was something else and I wasn't sure what was in it for him to marry her. Later, I just guessed it was him being spoiled and not liking to loose. Especially when Finn came on the scene.
There was quite a twist at the end of the book and a H.E.A. for now ending. For those who want to continue on in this series there is another adventure for Finn and Marissa.
