BOOK REVIEW- LUCKY GIRL (Lucky Alphas Book 2) by Mallory Crowe

Book Cover

Luck has never been on Harper's side, but everything will change when she meets the one man she can't control. He could be the best thing that's ever happened to her or destroy everything she's ever worked for. Either way, the game will be fun...
AMAZON 4 STARS

I really enjoyed this book and I liked both main characters.  Sparks fly between Harper and Lucas right from the moment they met.   It was irritation on Harper's part and quite a bit of over confidence on Lucas's part.  At least that is what Harper would say if you asked her.  Harper was one woman who was "able to take care of herself" type person and it wasn't all hype either.
This story had more than one dangerous mystery to be solved as the story goes on. That definitely kept me totally involved from beginning to end.  So did the feisty relationship developing between the two main characters.
One of my favorite statements that made me smile was when Harper said that trading insults was her happy place.   It was also something that Harper and Lucas did well.  He thought he would hate that about her but found it quite enjoyed it.  She was one of the few women who went toe to toe with him and he got a kick out of it.  He found that he liked the challenge.
It's a good thing this book was named Lucky Girl, because if it was mainly only about Lucas the title "Unlucky Guy", would fit him.  He just seemed to fall into one set up and betrayal after another.  But having met Harper and trying to solve problems, things are looking up for him.
Just letting you know that this book has adult language, sex-talk and action.
And what a refreshing way to set up an Epilogue, it really had me going until what was going on was revealed.   It just added another surprise to the mix and I liked that.
There is another book called Lucky Stud coming in January 2019.  It follows Leo West and from the quick blurb on it, it looks like it's going to be a doozy.  I will be looking for that one when it comes out.

I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions of it.
