BOOK REVIEW- THE NEGOTIATOR
FBI agent Dave Richman from Danger in the Shadows is back. He's about to meet Kate O'Malley, and his life will never be the same. She's a hostage negotiator. He protects people. He's about to find out that falling in love with a hostage negotiator is one thing, but keeping her safe is another!
Introducing the O'Malleys, an inspirational group of seven, all abandoned or orphaned as teens, who have made the choice to become a loyal and committed family. They have chosen their own surname, O'Malley, and have stood by each other through moments of joy and heartache. Their stories are told in CBA best-selling, inspirational romantic suspense novels that rock your heart and restore strength and hope to your spirit. AMAZON I'm giving it 5+ STARS
I LOVED, Loved, Loved this book. To me this book was a keeper, if I haven't made that clear enough already. Kate O'Malley, wow what a character. She is tough, a fighter, smart, skilled at her job but also loyal and loving to those she has let in. The whole O'Malley Family were so interesting. Look what they did, with MAKING their own family and sticking like glue to each other.
Dave was a great person to have along side Kate, whether she originally wanted him there or not. And what a challenge she presented him with. Not only is it part of his job and personality to be a protector, she's also NOT a believer. As he gets to know her and care about her, he's also afraid that he's setting his heart to get broken. He has received Jesus and made him an integral part of his life and he knows that he cannot be seriously, romantically connected with someone who is not. He tries his best to be the best friend he can be to her, as much as she will let him in. It presents a realistic struggle and not the only one in the story. There are so many great twists, turns and surprises in this story. The action was great and believable too. I enjoyed every ounce of this story and hope to read more in this series about the rest of the O'Malley Family. Because they have each others backs, of course they are in this story as well. Some more prominent than others but they are there.
