BOOK REVIEW- Husband For A Week
BOOK REVIEW- Husband For A Week- Jonathan Ramirez values his law practice and doesn’t believe in commitment, especially not to Isabella Cantari, a sassy young woman, who seems to attract trouble wherever she goes. Sicilian vendetta, fake husband, and an irascible matchmaking grandmother complicate Jonathan and Isabella’s lives. Can love conquer all? AMAZON
Wow, the action started right in the first chapter, within the first few paragraphs! What a great start.
Isabella Cantari, was exactly as described, spunky, sassy and skilled. Her love of her family didn't prevent her from being her own independent self. It felt like I got to know her a bit better than I got to know Jonathan. Their attraction was obvious to the reader but I wish there was more time to dig a bit deeper into his personality. But still, this is a Novella so that makes it short on time. And after everything is said and done I think the author did a pretty good job of it. That Jonathan was attracted to and cared about Isabella did come through really clear. At times he was almost half afraid of her but that still didn't change the fact that he wanted to pursue her. Oh, another thing that made him hesitant to chase after her was his boss/ her brother had told him strongly that she was off limits. And Isabella's grandmother Nonna? I can see where Isabella got her spunk and zest for life.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
