Introducing the O'Malleys, an inspirational group of seven, all abandoned or orphaned as teens, who have made the choice to become a loyal and committed family. They have chosen their own surname, O'Malley, and have stood by each other through moments of joy and heartache. I liked this book, I like the idea that the 7 "kids" adopted each other and made their own family and chose their own last name. Just like the other books I have read in this series, this was a good one. It was also good to "re-vist" the other "siblings" in this story. Because they really did have each others backs. One of the seven, Jennifer is going through something that is just being revealed to the rest of the group in this storyline. Like I said, I liked this story, Marcus and Shari were both great charcters on their own and also as they got to know each other. I would like to continue reading the rest of this series. But I have to say that so far my favorite is the one with Kate, The Negotiator, Book 1.
