I loved when Irish Katie likened Jack to The Big Bad Wolf and herself as the unwitting Little Red Riding Hood. Jack can't understand why he's so drawn to her; she's so different than his usual and he cant get her off his mind. That scares Jack. Katie is scared of her attraction to Jack too ! I also loved that Jack often called her, Snaps because of all her picture taking. So tourist but he finds he begins to adore that. That and her rambling and obsession with American mob murder stories. Jack's friend Columbian friend & roommate, Danika Silva, I quickly fell in love with. Charlie Burns is his other friend good friend, fellow team mate & roommate care deeply for him and don't want to see him self-destruct.
This story was different. Yes, it was emotional but also funny, cute and sweet. In book 3 of the Series- Lt. Greer Burns which I think I will be reading too. In this book it was clear there was a strong attraction between the two of them and then he went & put both feet in his mouth and she was FURIOUS !
I read this story through my HOOPLA App and want to read it again!
