Shep, a thin dog gets picked up and adopted by Evan after Hurricane Logan. That Hurricane really messed things up for a lot of people especially Bella Hattie. A sweet girl that I really liked and it left me wondering what Evan was really up to because there are hints that it's not in her best interests. She begins to see him with big eyes, thinking he's a white knight as he rescues her more than once. Evan just can't seem to stay away although he's feels like he should. I liked Evan although he does some stupid stuff.
Her mother is not much when it comes to Bella and the boyfriend Tucker sounds like he's into something big when it comes to something illegal.
Everything comes to a shocking twist at the end. I loved that ! I never saw it coming .
