------------My Star 4 review Notes Titled: Is Everything doomed?
Maybelle Luna starts out the story as the event planner with a lot on her plate because she's great at her job. I liked her a lot ! She's both sweet and business driven. Her assistant Sarah is a standup helper and the working atmosphere in her business is not only busy, excellent but also happy and easy going. Her staff loves working for her; they care a lot about her. They are working on CEO Mr. Grayson's event and he's got them running ! Maybelle's head caterer Marco and Jenny her go to for flowers are great at their jobs and meet the needs every time. I loved that Maybelle considered that her superpower was her charm! It sure proved to be true throughout the story. Her sister Rosie, has wisdom and backbone especially at the one time that I thought Maybelle should have had one ! But Rosie, does some great things for Maybelle.
Melvin's grandfather Henry, then sets a limit limit of 9 months to get married, to settle down. Then the inheritance of Clarke Enterprises could be his. I'm sorry but Melvin? What a geek name for such a great guy. And he's in love with his fiancee Vanessa who suddenly without warning dumps him BY TEXT !!
Things really spin out of control from there; with happy moments some disasters and a good Epilogue at the end. By, the way I really liked the eBook cover !
