BOOK REVIEW- UNFINISHED BUSINESS

What was she doing here? Hyattown had changed very little in the years Vanessa Sexton had been away. In some ways her high school sweetheart, Brady Tucker, hadn't changed much either—he was still lean, athletic, rugged…But the once reckless boy had become a solid, dependable man. He'd stood her up on the most important night of her life; could she ever trust him again?
So Vanessa had finally come home, Brady thought. She could still turn him inside out with one of her sultry looks. He couldn't believe she hadn't forgiven him for that night twelve years ago—but he'd had his reasons for not showing up. He'd let her leave town then—but he wasn't going to let her get away this time…

Vanessa Sexton has returned home to Hyattown, Maryland to visit her estranged mother after all these years.  The last time she had been home or seen her mother was when she was sixteen.    That's when her personal life went to pieces and her career skyrocketed.  She was in high demand as a professional concert pianist but after the death of her father, she was feeling lost and angry.  And she wanted some answers, she had no idea how many secrets there were and how explosive they were going to be.  There are some Mega ones.
The author did a good job with the small town, everybody in your business feeling.  There were plenty of emotional times to go around as well as some happy times too.
I enjoyed this book and it kept my interest throughout.
I wouldn't say it was earth shattering but it was enjoyable.
