BOOK REVIEW-The Unlikely Heroine - Book II:

There seems to be an awful lot of people who underestimate Pricilla, one of Cinderella's stepsisters.
She's shrewd, tough, beautiful and not one to suffer fools gladly.  She's has the position as Chalmers Kingdom's Land Agent; the only woman to ever hold that job.  She has to work with Prince Charming's annoying, good looking cousin, Sir Arnald.  But he'd better not get in her way, there are some things that are not adding up, she has a job to do.

Personality.  Pricilla has quite the personality, added to all of her other qualities.  She might have a head of beautiful silvery colored hair but she has a red-headed temper.  The last thing that she wants is to be snared by a man and spend the rest of her days being kept at home having lots of babies.  There is magic, of the supernatural kind and of the courtship kind going on in the story.
I really liked this one; probably partially because of the interactions between Sir Arnald and Pricilla.  He's used to women falling all over him and he's running from women but he can't figure out why she's not chasing after him too.  In fact, she's not interested at all!  The story has its share of villians popping out everywhere.  Have I mentioned how evil Cinderella's stepmother is? She is quite the piece of work; evil, manipulative and violent.
Final Words? Fun Romp,  I enjoyed it all!
