BOOK REVIEW: Stealing the Preacher

Stealing the Preacher

A man on his way to possibly become pastor of his first church (Crockett Archer) and a man ( Silas Robbins) who doesn't mind breaking the law to fulfill his daughter's birthday wish of a preacher. Add Joanna Robbins (the daughter of the outlaw) into the mix.  And watch the  lives of all these people  collide together; as Silas forces the preacher off the train, and drags him to present to his daughter.   There's no way this is going to end well, is there?  There's no way that God could be in this? Or is there?

Unique story line; with interesting, spunky characters; made this book a fun, quick, charming read.  I had also read The Straw Bride; which was my first journey into the story about the Archer boys.   I loved that book and really liked this one. Having read the first one; it also gave me some information on what the "boys" went through raising themselves.  I can honestly say though, that this book can stand on its own; its not absolutely necessary to have read any of the others.

I received a free copy of this novel from Bethany House Publishers as part of their book review program, and I am under no obligation to write a positive review.
