BOOK REVIEW- Inkcaster (Library Gate book 4) by H. Duke

Save the world? Check.

Consort with magical creatures? Check.

Defeat an evil organization? Double-check.

April’s seen it all in her time as the Pagewalker—the guardian of a magic gate that allows you to step into the pages of any book.
Now she faces her greatest challenge yet:
Leaving the gate in the hands of her friends while she fulfills Gram’s dying wish and takes her on a dream vacation.
Simple, right?
As if things could ever be that easy…
When the group gets split up inside a book two days before she’s scheduled to leave, they create a monster the likes of which they’ve never seen before.
Great.
A villain, a storybook character, a homeless veteran, and one harried librarian...
Can April bring them together to defeat an unspeakable evil before she misses her flight?

Another really good book in the series.  I liked the Team that has developed in the library.  And Rex, the dog is a member of that team as well.

The world building in these books are really great and this book is the same.  Although the monster that gets created is both surprising and even more powerful than expected.
There is plenty of action in this book but there is also several unexpected surprises towards the end of the book.  Now, that I really enjoyed!

Once again I have to mention how much I like the eBook covers for this series.  They just pop and are easy to spot among a large choice of books.  I like that they are colorful as well without being garish.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
