BOOK REVIEW- BLUR : A SPORTS ROMANCEby Piper Page

Blur: A Sports Romance by [Page, Piper]
Mallory Basso
When quarterback superstar Adrian Maxwell came into Pushing Daisies Flower Shop, my life turned upside down. No one that good looking has ever pursued me. Especially no one as famous. I’m only twenty-one years old and a virgin, but I know what love feels like, and Adrian makes me feel like no one else.
But family is family. And when you’re from my family, sometimes you don’t always get everything you want. But I want him more than anything. Not even if my mafia involved brother has his own agenda with Adrian.
Adrian Maxwell
I’ve never met a girl like Mallory Basso. As soon as I saw her, I had to have her and I did. Many times. But there’s a problem now that’s in our way. I’ll do whatever it takes, even if it’s risking it all. I’m not afraid of anyone or anything, even if it is the f*cking mob threatening my life. I’m a winner, and that’s all I’ve ever been. I’ll win Mallory’s heart, I’ll win her body, and I’ll do whatever it takes.
Even if it’s risking it all.

Blur is an emotional and riveting happy ending sports romance novel by Piper Page. This is her debut novel.   AMAZON 3.5 STARS  Opps, all of a sudden, I can't find it on Amazon!

I liked it but I wouldn't say that it rocked my world. Maybe that is because it was better suited to a younger crowd than me.  This book did have good main characters and some interesting secondary people like Mallory's friends, Leslie and Robby add to story.  Leslie is beautiful but often shallow when it comes to men but at least she is up front about it with her friends.  Robby seems to be a likable geek who for a long time was into Leslie. I will say that we don't get real in depth with these friends mainly I think because it's a story more about Mallory and Adrian.
I liked Mallory and it was amusing that she might know about movies and trivia but she doesn't know zip about sports or sports stars.  She also has a overprotective brother Giovanni who will feature in the story.  He loves his sister but he has been on the wrong track when it comes to some of his choices lately.  That will put him on collision course in more ways than one.
Adrian was a good guy.  What did I like best about him?  The fact that he really saw Mallory and thought she was beautiful.  He hardly even spared Leslie a glance.  Mallory was used to being almost invisible to men when she was standing next to Leslie.  Not when Adrian spotted her and went all out to get a date with her.  He could get pretty romantic too.
There were emotional things that both Mallory and Adrian had to deal with in their lives before they met.  That was well played in the story.
There is sex scenes between Mallory and Adrian of course.  But they also get their H.E.A. And we the readers get a good Epilogue which I always cheer for.

I will say What a great cover for this book, right?

I received a free copy of this book and this is my honest opinion of it.
