In one word..Intense. In two words? Intensely Good. From start to finish, it has definitely earned those words. Loved that Gunner and Sydney each shared their P.O.V.'s along with another person who will remain unnamed so as not to ruin the surprise. That twist that a good story has, this is one of those.
The emotions running between Sydney and Gunner are stunning. And were so well shown.
There is plenty of action, along with the EOD crew who really do have each others backs. A very clever enemy has been running them in circles well able to hide his malevolent real personality.
Fantastic ending also followed up by a good Epilogue.
