BOOK REVIEW- aHUNTE4RESCUE by Cynthia Clement

aHunter4Rescue (AHunter4Hire Book 1) by [Clement, Cynthia]
aHunter4Rescue is the first book in a series of standalone sci-fi romance novels. If you like space travel, gorgeous aliens, and sweet romance, then you’ll love the first installment of Cynthia Clement’s aHunter4Hire series.

He’s bound to his code, but she’s the one he wants. Will love bring them together, or will duty tear them apart?
Ardal is sworn to protect women. As the leader of the Hunters, an elite unit of alien warriors, he’s bound by a strict moral code to never mate, even if he falls in love. But when their ship crash lands on Earth, the Hunters are forced to forge a new life for themselves on a new planet. Ardal is committed to maintaining his honor, until he meets her…

Fiona is hiding from her abusive stalker when she sees the crash. After rushing to help the survivors, she’s rewarded with the loyalty of the incredibly sexy Hunter warriors. She’s drawn to them for their duty, but eventually it’s Ardal himself who proves irresistible.

As the pair bonds, tensions flare and sparks fly. Will Fiona risk her damaged heart? Can Ardal find a way to make Fiona his mate, or will duty to his unit make their love impossible?
 AMAZON 5 STARS

Loved it, it was one of the best alien love stories that I have read in a while.  It has a really good plot and it's not just a story written so that there can be plenty of "alien sex." Believe the book blurb when in says it has a sweet romance, because it does. But maybe I should say "plot with an s" because there are a couple of things going on within the story.  Not overwhelming but definitely kept my interest.  Plenty of action keeps things going.  The emotions in the book are also well done, I thought.
The main characters were excellent with each carrying their own wounds.  Fiona was one feisty though terrified at times woman. And she has reason to be. That came across really well in the story.  Ardal truly was a person of honor, who is way over his head when it comes to being on Earth and feeling something for Fiona.  Those feelings are confusing him almost as much as the Earth people and their ways.  He is a leader though and for the most part does better than most.  He also has a team of men who are interesting as well and I know some will have their story too. Good, because if the other books in the series is as good as this one, I want to continue reading them.
I liked how this book adventure came to a satisfying end with a way that the brotherhood of warriors/hunters are able to advance from here.
