BOOK REVIEW- TRUST BY DESIGN by Stacey Joy Netzel

Trust by Design (Colorado Trust Series Book 2) by [Netzel, Stacey Joy]
Cinderella and Prince Charming...brought together by chance, or design?

Interior Designer Gina Allen is flat broke thanks to a shady assistant who didn’t pay the taxes. Now she has no choice but to accept a job from the very rich, very handsome CEO Dean Daley—even though he’s accused her of conspiring to steal his software designs.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer—that’s why Dean hires his rival’s ex-girlfriend. If he can use her to prove Jack is behind the spiraling downfall of his company, he might be able to turn things around before losing everything.

Dean, however, doesn’t count on Gina being everything he never expected, or his heart being in more danger than his business. Will the trust they’ve built be enough to keep them together—or will an unexpected betrayal tear them apart…and possibly cost them their lives?  AMAZON 4 STARS

The story has 2 good main characters; both having been screwed over by the same person.  Gina's ex-boyfriend Jack, who was was slick, greedy and possibly more dangerous than anyone ever knew.  But for the most part he seems to always be a step ahead of just about anyone who tries to beat him.  How can that be?
Gina and Dean's first meeting is unusual and easy to understand when it comes to Dean's suspicions about her.    Oh, the heat was there but this isn't going to be an easy slide into a H.E.A.   Yes, there will be one but not until a whole lot of things get sorted out.
I liked the fact that both Dean and Gina were very skilled people and if unhindered can and did accomplish some really good things.

Both Dean and Gina have good friends who play a part in the story as well.
I do have to say that a time or two the story felt like it dragged a bit.  But between the 50ish/60ish mark things start to really pick up.  Action, some surprises and romance all pick up.

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest opinion of it.
