BOOK REVIEW- FINDING YOU

Finding You by Viola Estrella
BOOK REVIEW- FINDING YOU-Forty days with brooding Mayor Rome D’Amore shouldn’t be too difficult, right? Becca Spencer has never spent too much time in one place, so when she takes on the task of being Rome’s fake fiancée, she must ignore her restlessness and give it her all. She won’t let Rome, mucky aura and all, or the town of Prospect down...for a number of reasons. But the more time she spends in this cozy little town with the gorgeous mayor, the more she wonders if forty days could turn into forever. Rome can’t seem to get his ex-wife, Eve, out of his life and out of his mind. It’s almost as if the wicked woman cast a spell on him. Now that Eve’s remarried and determined to ruin his life, he has no choice but to trust in the beautiful, eccentric Becca to help him get reelected. Pretending to be Becca’s fiancee has its upside, of course, but trust isn’t something that ever came easy to Rome. Finally breaking away from his past might just be what he needs to get over Eve, but what will the future hold?  AMAZON

A cute story, although I'm not usually into stories that included auras.   There is a few "F" words in the story for those who want to know about that.  I really, really liked Becca, she was a one of a kind person.  Someone you would like enough to hang around as a friend.  Rome was someone who needed to be loved and valued and had been so abuse by Evil Eve.  I liked the romance that developed as Becca became the fake fiancee.    As the story goes on, more romances start to bloom.  She has such a kooky family on one side and had a strange unloved childhood from the other side.  She just never seemed to measure up no matter what she did.  But at least her sister Rachael was no longer separated from her and they were growing in their relationship.   I Loved (!) Rome's sister Nadine and I can see how Becca and Nadine got along so well, they both were a hoot.  Loving but direct too.  Rome's dad added to the story as well; his crankiness hiding a good heart.
There is some heat with several sex scenes, also for those who want to know.
I was happy with the ending for Rome and Becca and the  H.E.A endings for many of the residents of Prospect.

A side Note: When a red diamond came up in the story I thought, "really is there such a thing?" I had to go and Google it.  A friend of mine has a pink diamond but I never heard of a red one.  I did find out that "Yes", there really is such a thing as a red diamond.  That was kind of fun to find out, and went so well in the story.

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
