Book Review:Letting Go Of Your Limitations

Letting Go of Your Limitations: Experiencing God’s Transforming Power by Sandie Freed
This book addresses the purpose of why we were created- "to bring God glory".  But in order to do that in the fullest we need to let go of things that would hinder us from doing that more.  The author even states that the intention of this book is to teach you how to tear down strongholds that limit you from demonstrating God's power.  There are small sections called "Time for Reflection" that asks a few personal questions that you can answer to further your study.

I found this book to be a good foundation study for the many areas that Christians struggle in.  Good insights about legalism were shared (or in my words, thinking if we do everything to the letter, we can earn our way with God.) She also shared about letting go of  Pride, Reliance on the human mind, The pressure of achieve results,Bondage, Letting go of squelched passion, just to name a few.
While I am a fan of Sandie Freed, I did struggle getting through this particular book.  I enjoyed the Scripture reference but for me personally right now, I found it a bit dry.   It could be the season that I am going through.  So I guess I would give it an Okay rating, because the Study part was well put together.

I received a free copy of this novel from Chosen Book Publishers as part of their book review program, and I am under no obligation to write a positive review.
