MY REVIEW- 5 STARS TITLED: RAW
This story starts out raw right from the first chapter. The drama is intense and compelling. And when Alora and Luther "meet" again 5 years later the drama between them only worsens. Luther's sister, Iris is the catalyst of their first painful battle all those years ago and it can bring tears to the eyes of the reader. Emotions are laid bare often.
I like the fact that Iris and Alora were best friends for years before everything blew up ! I really liked Iris as well and was glad that she showed up more in the story. Even made me hope, that she gets a book love of her own.
This is no light story, meaning there is plenty of "meat" to the story even though there will be martial activities.
The details of settings, the emotions were so well done as was their interactions with others. If you couldn't tell before now, let me be clear. I loved this story and it's outcome !!!
