MY REVIEW- TITLED: Never saw YOU coming      5 STARS

 

 It had a great start to this book. I loved the "Pretend you don't know  me". It made me laugh. Each time it happened. It's often unspoken as is the "I hate you" which IS spoken."  There IS pure venom, which is so sassy and directed that I just had to marvel at how well it was written. It might be mean of me, but I loved it !!

Blake, is such a player but he finally met his match in the coach's daughter, Cassy. 

They were great as they faced off against each other. 

Thumper.   He was such a great person. I cried when I read what happened to him. the loud, reckless,fast-taking captain who kept the team together !Beloved by almost everyone. Definitely by the fans ! His team mates were great, I especially loved, Brody who is Blake's brother-in-law married to his sister, Mariana. 

 The Epilogue 7 years later led by Cassy is the best. I wasn't that much of a fan of hockey stories but this one turned that around because it was just that good ! Lexi Dove knows how to get it done, even to the written sound effects of the hockey movements !

I also enjoyed the quick look at Brody & Mariana's story, " Pucking my brother's Best friend."   

 Great cover on the eBook by the way. 

Chirping is something that I never heard of before. But I loved learning about it. Chirping, huh.
