ARC AUG 19-25BKFUNNEL/"Forecast for Mischief" by Tessa Silver

  Book Cover AMAZON LINK

Weather witch Junie Fizzlebloom has always used her magical abilities to enhance her television forecasts for the charming town of Quillhaven. But when the town's protective 300-year-old weathervane vanishes during the annual Summer Festival, Junie's weather magic begins spiraling dangerously out of control.

With storms swirling on the horizon—both literal and emotional—Junie teams up with her charming cameraman, David, and two wisecracking Siamese cats with a flair for sleuthing.

As frightening storms threaten to destroy the town, Junie must master her unpredictable abilities and rally Quillhaven's magical community to uncover who’s harnessing forbidden elemental power before it’s too late.

A delightful blend of cozy mystery, small-town charm, and magical romance, where talking cats solve crimes, love conquers weather chaos, and community proves stronger than any storm.

MY REVIEW NOTES- 5 STARS TITLED: Can Love Conquer all?

Junie and Davey sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G ! That rhyme came to mind at first, Lol !That didn't really happen !  But David Hamilton definitely has had his eye on Junie. He's intrigued, and charmed by her, all the time also trying to figure her out.

Junie Fizzlebloom, I adored her. Unique name and all ! She's charming all right, and just cares so deeply for people and her community. She's also fighting her  attraction to David, her attractive cameraman. She doesn't think workplace romances are a good idea.  But David's calm, quiet devotion is beginning to wear her down.  Junie is also beginning to wonder about a woman named Eliza Bentley, who runs her own tea shop business.  Something just seems off about her. It didn't take me long to wonder what was going on with that woman too.

I loved that Leo and Luna, the Siamese sibling cats were in this story. I always welcome them. There is also a surprise beautiful cat that shows up that I WASN'T expecting.

Great ending and new beginning to this book and I really enjoyed the beautiful artwork that was included in many of the new chapters.
