MY REVIEW -They spit, they fight, they fall in love (Title) 10+
Humorous, outrageous, romantic, great main characters. Their fights are top over the top and so often hilarious. The words that that spit at each other. The one-up man ship that is constantly in movement kept this book in my favorites category. There is also tenderness, faithfulness, protectiveness and this huge Navy former seal constantly saying the wrong thing even when he means it all for the best. Natalie is TOUGH, with a capital T and can hold her own in a fight which August loves. He loves to rile Natalie up and see the sparks fly out of her, instead of the ultra-composed almost numb demeanor. She is self protective because of all the family and professions disappointments and hurts. No one ever valued her and she knows it ! And the sparks do fly ! August will do anything to make her happy, but he also is NOT a push over either. They go toe-to-toe more than once ! Their engagement and the wedding made me laugh and snort with glee. August is unashamedly unorthodox, just being himself you know. He had the DJ play, "Brick House" as their couples first dance,lol. He's got a kind heart, helpful and won't allow ANYONE to hurt Natalie. They WILL answer to him and do !
The Epilogue. Oh, the Epilogue 8 years later ! Tender, sweet, fierce and also outrageous all at once ! What a great way to end the book.
There is also another book in the offering, it's about Natalie's brother Julian and his girlfriend Hallie. It's called :
"Wreck the Hall by Tessa Bailey. I've got to go find that book and read it. Hallie was hilarious and had so much in common with August. She admits that she's the Author of Chaos and sets out to prove it in this story.
